I want my business online, but this is my first website. I don’t know where to start. Can you help me? Yes! You do not need any previous online experience. C P and M Web Designs offer free consultation on all services. We go over the whole process and what to expect right from the start. What information will you need in preparation for getting my business online?We will need your company profile, mission statement, goals, contact info, products and services, pictures and any other information you would like on your website. Some great resources for this are your company logo, brochures, flyers, business cards, etc.Where is your office located? How are our meetings arranged?We are a home based business and currently don’t have a separate “meeting space” for clients. Everything that is needed to design and launch your website can be done without us ever having a physical meeting. It is our preference to work with clients this way. Because of tight schedules, it is easier, more convenient and faster to work with you over the Internet by emails, phone calls and faxes. We have designed several websites for clients in different states without ever physically meeting. It is just a preference to convey ideas and information by phone, fax and emails for the reasons given above How much input do I have?Your input is welcome and encouraged! No one knows your business better than you. The more input we receive from you the better we are able to satisfy your needs and design a site that you desire.Can you use my business's existing logo, brochure design, and other materials for my website?Yes. We prefer your information in electronic format. We can accept almost any type of file. If your materials are printed, they will be scanned and converted. Please keep in mind, printed materials may lose some of the quality once scanned in.Who manages the website after it has been launched?C P and M maintains your website after it has been completed. There are no additional fees for minor monthly maintenance. We do ask that you allow at least 48-72 hours before the updates are loaded to your site. This time period may vary depending on the updates requested and the current workload of C P and M. We will usually tell you when the updates are expected to be uploaded.What is included in the minor updates or monthly maintenance? Monthly maintenance is included in your original contract price. This agreement includes minor web page maintenance to regular web pages, including updating links and making minor changes to a sentence or paragraph, or updating your site with flyers, newsletters, special events, sales, etc. It does not include removing nearly all the text from a page and replacing it with new text, redesigning or changing the color of your entire site, adding pages, etc. Changes requested by the client beyond those limits above will be billed at the hourly rate of $18 and additional pages are $25. The twelve-month maintenance period commences upon the date the client signs the contract and payment is received. Who provides the content/text for each of the pages on the website?You are responsible for writing the copy/text for your website. We will however work with you if you need help and or suggestions with content as well as checking for grammatical/spelling errors prior to launching your site.Do you offer payment plans? Yes! 50% of the agreed upon amount is required before we start, and the remaining balance is due prior to your site going live and a contract signed and dated by both parties.What areas do you serve? We work with all types of clients from large companies to individuals. We service clients within the United States. How can we pay to get started?We prefer secure credit card payments through Paypal. We also accept checks, money orders and cash.Are your Web Design costs one time?Yes, the initial cost of the web design is a one time fee. However, if you choose to continue with your website after one year, there is a renewal fee for your domain name and hosting for each year thereafter. This cost is less than your original contract (unless you took advantage of one of our popular web design specials)Do I have to host with you?Yes, this is one of the reasons we can provide such affordable prices and no monthly fees. We are part of a reseller builder program with the hosting company we use and receive discounted hosting fees. Can I have a site that looks similar to one I saw? We encourage you to submit web addresses for sites you would like your website based. This gives us an idea of what you are expecting and allows us to tell you upfront if this is something we can recreate and adjustments needed.How Does Your Web Design Process Work?We strive to build the best and most cost effective website for your business. A professionally built website can promote your products and services, enhance your image, and generate sales. Initial ConsultationOur first consultation is to determine your needs and any other requirements. It is more of a question and answer conversation to help us determine your needs, as well as how we will proceed in the most cost efficient way available. We will gather information about your company, services, audience, purpose, site goals, and more. We prefer this consultation to be by phone or email.PaperworkAfter our first consultation, we will send you our standard web design contract for you to look over and determine if our company is the best fit for your needs. All the details and specifics are in the contract including the contract price agreed upon. Once you agree and ready for C P and M to begin work on your website, you sign the contract and send it back along with the down payment. PaymentsWe require 50% Deposit to start your work. After you agree and return the contract with the deposit, we begin the actual design process. The contract can be emailed, faxed or mailed back. At any time you have questions or concerns, please contact us.Providing Your ContentYou will then provide us with the text and any other content for your website you would like. This can either be done by email, fax or hard copy. Web Design DevelopmentWe ask you to provide examples of websites you like, color schemes, formats, number of pages needed, and any additional items such as forms, counters, calendars, etc. Once you provide that information to us and payment has been received, your domain name is secured and a temporary “website currently being designed” page is displayed.We will provide a link for you to see the site as it is being designed “behind the scenes” and prior to it being launched. As the site is being built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it and provide feedback, suggestions, changes, additional content, etc. Launching Your Website After your final approval and payment has been received, your temporary “site being built” page is removed and your approved website will be published on your domain, and live for all the world to see! Ongoing Support After your website is launched, we will work with you to review, update and maintain your web site to accommodate your requests.What is your typical turn around period?Our regular turn around period is than 2 weeks from the date your final content is submitted.Can you host our website and register our domain name?Yes. Although, we prefer to register and set up your domain name and our host servers are included in your contract.Can I use my existing website address if I host with you?Yes, we prefer to set up and register your domain name, but if you prefer to maintain this we will tell you what is needed in order for your domain name to work with our servers.Do you have Money Back Guarantee? What if I don't like your work?Our goal is to provide high quality and professional service to all of our customers. After the initial down payment (or full payment) is made, we offer a 30 day refund guarantee of the advance received minus $25. This refund must be requested in writing prior to 30 days of the initial down payment.Can you help us get listed in Search Engines?We are not a professional SEO (Search Engine Optimization) company. We will submit your URL to all the Major Search Engines which will help get your company name to the top of search engines. We do not guarantee top placement on any search engines. Will we get a chance to review and suggest modifications to the website before it is launched?Yes! You are provided a link to see the progress of your site from start to finish. We will work with you closely to create the website based on your input and preferences. Your site will only be launched after your final approval. It is our desire to make you happy.Do you have clients that can be contacted as reference for your work?Yes! All the websites and several of our graphics we have designed for customers are on our client page. Feel free to contact any of them regarding our work. We also have a testimonial page just to give you an idea of what some of our customers have said about our work.I am a small home business, do you work with Individuals?Yes, we work with big and small businesses, corporations, professionals, home based business owners, startups, and individuals.Do you design Adult/pornographic Web sites?NO.
